Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred.
2.
Minimum of five successful years in Human Resources preferred.
3.
Administrative experience preferred.
4.
Certification in Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION /
Responsibilities:
1.
Facilitate hiring process for all District employees - postings, intakes, contracts, and associated required employee paperwork.
2.
Facilitate intake appointments for Licensed Educators, Administration, Tier IIB, and Department Staff.
3.
Monitor license registration and renewal.
4.
Maintain accurate employee personnel records.
5.
Prepare Board of Education packets, memos, and necessary documentation.
6.
Administer E-Verify.
7.
Actively engage applicants via all District Applicant Tracking Systems.
Keep in constant communication with potential candidates throughout the hiring process.
8.
Assist with temporary staffing.
9.
Track vacancy, reassignment, and transfer data.
10.
Review and update job descriptions.
11.
Assist with EIS reporting.
12.
Prepare verification of employment, loan forgiveness, per diem agreements, etc.
13.
Assist with retirement communication, paperwork, and process.
14.
Prepare longevity, scattergram, and other Human Resources Department statistical reports.
15.
Prepare necessary reports as it relates to employment systems and regulations.
16.
Monitor background check programming and communication.
17.
Assist with employee recognition events.
18.
Maintain updated information and knowledge concerning labor and employment law.
19.
Promote and support a positive workplace environment district-wide.
20.
Support the implementation and interpretation of the collective bargaining agreements.
21.
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality and personal flexibility in all areas.
22.
Support required Human Resources systems and procedures.
23.
Participate in / attend building and district meetings as required.
24.
Maintain professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the District.
25.
Performs any other duties and responsibilities as may be requested by the Associate Superintendent for Staff and District Operations or Designee.
