Position
Summary:
We are currently looking for an Account Coordinator to join our team.
This will be a hybrid position initially where there will be some in-office training and work from home.
(You can choose to work from the office all the time should you choose to do so.
)The ideal candidate will provide exemplary service to our customers while providing sales support to our territory managers.
This person will be responsible for communicating information from the customer to all necessary internal departments such as sales, production, scheduling, and shipping to ensure timely delivery of products to our customers.
Essential Job Functions Include:
Managing the order process with the customer from receipt and entry, through any changes or expediting requests and continue to communicate and assist through shipment of the order.
Communicate with customers regarding order acknowledgment, order status, and product date changes.
Maintain customer database including setting up of new customers, updating addresses and contacts, along with any customer requirements or instructions.
Develop an understanding of how to internally process, schedule, manufacture, inventory, and ship customer orders for key accounts.
Work with sales and scheduling to maintain an inventory of customer stocks and current forecasts.
Request samples and pricing estimates.
Communicate customer issues to appropriate departments and initiates complaints and the return process when deemed appropriate.
Provide support to outside sales by assisting with new business development and coordinate product conversions when needed.
Provide back-up within the department.
Coordinate other customer requests such as new part numbers, regulatory documentation, or specifications.
Effectively interface and communicate with our Scheduling, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Shipping, Engineering, Sales, Accounting, and Quality departments to plan, manage, and resolve customer issues.
Professional Profile:
3
years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to self-manage, multi-task, and prioritize your desk.
Proficiency in Outlook and Word; experience with an ERP or CRM system.
Excellent organizational skills and a proven record of relationship building and cross-functional communication.
A Bachelors degree is certainly a plus.
