Join a specialist in the metals industry Receive complete training Support purchasing and inventory planning processes Perform vendor management functions Solicit bids from vendors on open purchasing requisitions Negotiate terms, rates and contracts Select the vendors with the best terms and rates Create and submit purchase orders Track open purchase orders Perform quality checks on received goods and materials Administer the inventory database Enter and process new inventory items in the database Monitor inventory supply levels Analyze demand patters and inventory stock levels Establish reorder points Collaborate with internal teams Troubleshoot issues as they arise Run routine and special reports Conduct routine and special analysis Handle special projects Perform other duties as assigned An ideal candidate profile will include:
At least 5 years of Buyer experience Inventory Control, Inventory Planning and Inventory Analysis skills Negotiation and Contract Administration skills Pluses:

An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree ++
