Summary:
The Advance Practice Provider (APP) will provide all aspects of care including chronic conditions, well care and acute care to patients in a cost effective manner with a focus on quality outcomes.
The APP acts as a role model to facilitate and enhance the development of quality nursing care through evidence based practice.
Position Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner:
Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advance Practice Nurse.
Masters of Science in Nursing with clinical specialty appropriate to position.
Current certification by American Nurse Creditionalling Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner.
Maintains State of Illinois and Federal DEA license.
Must maintain Copley Memorial Hospital clinical privileges, if applicable Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with 2 years of experience in area of clinical specialty.
CPR certification.
Excellent communication skills.
Physician Assistant:
Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant.
Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Must maintain Copley Memorial Hospital clinical privileges, if applicable Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with 2 years of experience in area of clinical specialty.
CPR certification Excellent communication skills.
