CorTech is seeking to hire a Quality Control Technician for our client in Aurora, IL! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! Pay Rate - $20-28/hr 1st Shift Job Description The Quality Technician II conducts dimensional inspections and documentation verification of purchased components and final assemblies to ensure compliance with all required quality and performance standards.
oConducts dimensional inspections of purchased components and raw materials.
oPerforms First Piece inspection and prepare reports.
oVerifies the accuracy of material certificates and test reports from suppliers.
oAssigns internal heat codes to materials received from suppliers.
oPerforms when required any of the in-process inspections and tests carried out in the assembly process, including positive material Identification tests, hardness tests, paint thickness tests, hydro tests, visual examinations of welds and others as required.
oVerifies and signs off on required factory calibration and test reports.
oPerforms inspection of final assemblies to ensure compliance to all drawing and customer requirements.
oCalibrates measuring tools and gages, as assigned.
oPerforms when required weld Liquid Penetrant test examinations to level II.
Minimum GED 3 - 5 yrs experience Recommended Skills Calibration Hardness Tests Liquid Penetrant Testing Quality Management Assembly And Installation Raw Materials Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
