Ability to handle administrative tasks related to property management, such as preparing lease agreements, maintaining tenant records, and processing rental applications.

Ability to negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants and resolve conflicts between tenants or with vendors.

Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with tenants, address their concerns, and provide excellent customer service.

Proficiency in data entry to accurately record information related to rental payments, maintenance requests, and other property-related activities.

Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations with tenants or vendors in a calm and professional manner.
- Sales skills:
Basic sales skills to effectively market available units and upsell additional services or amenities.
- Office skills:
Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Google Drive) for creating reports, spreadsheets, and other documents.
- Facilities management knowledge:
Understanding of basic facilities management principles to ensure proper maintenance and repairs of the property.
- Customer service orientation:
Strong focus on providing exceptional customer service to tenants and addressing their needs in a timely and efficient manner.
Duties As an Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager/Office Manager in the day-to-day operations of a residential or commercial property.
Your duties will include:
-Answer incoming calls and filling out prospective tenant forms - Assisting with leasing and marketing activities, including showing available units to prospective tenants and processing rental applications - Coordinating move-ins and move-outs, conducting unit inspections, and ensuring that all necessary repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely manner - Collecting rent payments and following up on any late payments or delinquencies - Responding to tenant inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner - Assisting with tracking property expenses, tenant billing, and other administrative tasks - Maintaining accurate records of all property-related activities -Document filing and file maintenance Skills To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
