4K a year The Homewood Suites in Aurora, IL is looking for a PART TIME Breakfast Attendant.
This is a GREAT paying position that would be perfect for someone wanting to supplement their full-time job, or who simply wants to work part-time.

BASIC PURPOSE:
Set-up, maintain and break down buffet for breakfast FUNCTIONS/
Responsibilities:
Set-up buffet according to procedures and brand standards Maintain buffet throughout the service period, restock buffet items as needed and have all food items and utensils out on time As needed and depending on layout of the breakfast/kitchen area, inform kitchen cooks of any additional items needing replenished on the buffet.
Assist guests; help serve as needed and respond to questions Clean off buffet table including putting all utensils, food and other items back in the appropriate place in the kitchen or walk in/reach in coolers.
Monitor dining room area continuously and attend to spills, waste on floors, or other housekeeping needs of the area Assist with polishing mirrored buspans and coffee urns as directed by supervisor Perform sidework duties as needed.
When needed, assist other departments and employees with any tasks requested by a supervisor or manager KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Education:
No formal education required.
High school education or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
No experience required.
1 year food service or related preferred.
Hours Required:
This is a weekend position, ,but additional hours are available if desired.
Must adhere to the time and attendance policies set forth by the company ENVIRONMENT Physical Job Requirements Lifting/Pushing/Pulling/Carrying Constant, strenuous lifting required when setting up and tearing down breakfast area Lifting and carrying of supplies and deliveries of food items Ability to remove heavy bags of garbage and waste Bending/Kneeling Functions of this job include frequent bending, stooping and kneeling during the course of a shift.
Mobility Position includes continuous walking from kitchen area to breakfast area Must be able to make frequent trips throughout the dining area to ensure guest satisfaction Continuous Standing Position includes continuous standing during entire shift Climbing Stairs May require climbing of moderate amount of stairs Hearing/Vision/Speech Must be able to visually understand and inspect the brand standards of the breakfast/kitchen area Must be able to understand and follow-through with directions and instructions given by supervisor Must be able to interact with, communicate with, and understand the needs of the guest Protective Clothing Position may require the use of:
Hair nets or brand-required head covering Gloves Apron Safety Shoes Equipment Operation Position requires the ability to safely handle and operate typical kitchen tools such as Mixer Chef's knife Slicer Steam Table Steam Urn Dispenser Beverage Equipment Waffle Iron Coffee Brewers Microwave, stove, oven or other standard kitchen appliances Job Type:
