Human Resources Manager

Location : Aurora, IL



Providing management and guidance on all aspects of human resource issues to leaders and employees;
Developing a highly effective team of HR professionals providing superior support to their clients;
Assisting the Labor Relations team in handling issues, grievances and preparing for contract negotiations and arbitration hearings;
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, local regulations and company policies concerning employment and employee discipline;
Ensuring leaders have tools and information necessary to maintain effective working environments for their people;
Collaborating with business and HR leaders to implement strategies to improve the company's employment brands and overall workforce effectiveness;
Gathering data, delivering analysis and recommendations to business and HR leadership concerning current people capabilities, climate and performance, as well as future needs;
Traveling locally between plant sites.
Education: 4-year degree required; Business, Human Resources, Law or related disciplines preferred.
Required Skills:
5-7 years (possibly up to 10 years) of Human Resources experience in a specialist or generalist capacity;
Strong Labor Relations experience;
Union experience is a plus;
Proven leadership, collaborative and negotiation skills;
Strong interpersonal, communication, training and presentation skills;
Certification in an HR discipline such as CCP, CBP, PHR, SPHR;
Ability to travel between locations (locally).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
